North Lodge on
Oakland is your home away from home. Located on a quiet residential
street, this 1904 restored stone house is only 5 minutes from
the Biltmore Estate and 5 minutes from downtown Asheville. It
offers you six comfortable and bright bedrooms, WiFi wireless
internet access, central air conditioning, dramatic and relaxing
gardens with a lighted gazebo, plush bedding in each of the spacious
guest rooms, cable TV, a bountiful country breakfast and the elegance
you would expect in a wonderful, historic bed & breakfast.
As you enter the circular

The dining room (adjacent
to the sitting room and interior porch) has Victorian influenced
wallpaper in its burnt orange and bright blue colors, French country
furniture and a large Oriental rug. A big corner fireplace and
beautiful brass and crystal chandelier add to the room's warmth.

Additional lounge
and entertaining areas occupy an area that once was an exterior
front porch. The feel of this area is that of a Victorian porch
with wicker chairs and accent pieces. Oriental type rugs cover
the beautifully restored pine floors. The stone walls and beadboard
ceiling add to the welcome feeling of the area.
